Preparatory School Entry
Ipswich Prep School is now accepting registrations for September 2017 entry and beyond with places available from Nursery to Year 6.
Younger children seeking places in Reception to Year 3 will be assessed informally during Taster Sessions in January 2017, while older children registered for entry into Year 4, 5 and 6 year groups will be invited to attend a Taster Day on selected days in January.
In some instances it may be possible for a child to join the School during the current academic year.
Nursery sessions for the Lent Term commencing on Wednesday 4 January 2017, are currently being allocated and registrations are now being accepted for the next two academic years.
Please contact Mrs Kate Frankland, Prep Admissions Manager, for further information: 01473 281302, email@example.com
All parents wishing to register their children for the Preparatory School (including the Nursery) use the same standard form. Application forms can be downloaded (see above) or obtained from the Prep Admissions Manager at the school (Tel: 01473 281302). A non-refundable registration fee of £50 is payable (or £25 where there is a sister or brother already in the school).
Once a child is offered a place in the Prep Nursery, parents will be asked to complete a Form of Acceptance of a Place and pay an Acceptance Fee of £100. Upon payment of this fee, the place is formally reserved and the usual notice periods for withdrawal apply. The Acceptance Fee is refunded at the end of the last term a pupil is in the Nursery.
When a place is offered in the Prep (Reception - Year 6), parents will be asked to complete a Form of Acceptance of a Place and pay an Acceptance Fee of £200. Upon payment of this fee, the place is formally reserved and the usual notice periods for withdrawal apply. The Acceptance Fee is payable only once and is refunded at the end of the last term a pupil is at Ipswich School (including the Senior School).
Before accepting a place for their child, parents are asked to read the Parent Contract and accept the rules and regulations governing their child's conduct and their own relationship with the school in such matters as payment of fees and requests for absence.
