Excellent set of GCSE results for Ipswich School pupils

Ipswich School is delighted that 100 percent of pupils taking GCSE exams at the school this summer achieved the benchmark of 5 A* to C grades including English and Maths.  And a very impressive two-thirds of exams received either A* or A grades.

Headmaster Nicholas Weaver said: “In all areas – languages, humanities, the arts, science, English and maths – our pupils have once again achieved excellent grades in their GCSE exams.  I am very proud of them for their hard work and determination which has paid off and gives them a first class grounding for further study.”

There were particularly strong results for Ipswich School’s language students, with 75% of exams in seven languages – French, Russian, Spanish, German, Chinese, Latin and Classical Greek – being graded either A* or A.  Similarly in Maths, almost 50% of pupils achieved an A* grade.
