A Tale of Two Plays

The Drama Department are producing two plays on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 March at 7pm in Great School. They will be showcasing ‘Is this good enough?’ by Aaeves Mohammad, which will be performed by Year 9, and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by William Shakespeare, which will be performed by Year 10 and 11.

Both of these plays will be shown on the same night with an interval in between. ‘Is this good enough?’ is the story of a group of young people, from all different backgrounds, and the mysterious Cyroe who summons them with a message. They face many treacherous quests that lead them facing their worst nightmares in an attempt to discover the true meaning of leadership.

Following this, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will bring an exciting twist to the Shakespearean classic set in the swinging sixties! Middle School will tell the story of order and disorder, reality and appearance, and love and marriage. Through four different plots that will provide elements of comedy, magic and suspense to end your evening.

An IS Post has been sent for people to apply for tickets.
