Next Saturday, 8 October, anyone who enjoys singing and would like to learn from the country’s leading gospel choir can join a special workshop as part of the Ipswich School Festival of Music.
Dubbed “the nation’s favourite choir” the London Community Gospel Choir will be delivering their unique, warm, rich and vibrant sound of peace, love and unity in an evening concert in Great School.
Before this, members of the choir will be sharing their performance techniques and also preparing attendees at the afternoon workshop for a performance with the choir during the evening concert. With rich harmonies, charismatic interpretations and closely unified ensemble, a concert with the London Community Gospel Choir is powerful and life-affirming, reflecting the group’s ethos: “out of many, one voice”.
Workshop tickets are £35, including the evening concert, and student tickets for the workshop and concert are £15. If you just want to attend the concert, then tickets are £25, with concessions priced at £22, and students at £7.
