Digital Leaders organise Safer Internet Day activities

Senior School pupils were able to participate in a range of activities for Safer Internet Day 2022 on Tuesday 8 Februrary.

For Years 7 and 8 there were activities in form time for them to take part in, including games about internet safety. There was also a card trail around school, and Lower School students had to find social media logos or pictures of video games. They gained one point from finding them and then gained another by identifying them. The individual with the most points will then get an Amazon gift voucher, and the form with the highest number of points will also receive a prize.

In Years 9 to 13 there were also games in form time based around internet safety. The school trail for Middle School and Sixth Form included finding five different QR codes and answering the questions on relationships and respect.

On Tuesday lunchtime, Ms Denby and the digital leaders were under the library with online quizzes and activities for everyone to try, fitting in with the theme of Safer Internet Day this year which is ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’.

The Ipswich School activities have been put together by the digital leaders and e-safety champions, so we would like to thank them for taking the lead on these activities.
