End of Year Celebration for Prep Pupils

Today we said farewell to our Year 6 pupils at Ipswich Prep, and congratulations to all of our wonderful children for a fabulous year of achievements with our End of Year Celebration event.

Whilst we would normally gather in the marquee on School Field to applaud our prize winners, this year we will had a virtual celebration instead.

This included speeches and performances by some of the Year 6 pupils – Eve, Harriet, Harry C, Aaron, Mia, Charlie D and Maisie – as well as the traditional words from Henry Staunton, Chairman of Governors, and Amanda Childs, Head of Ipswich Prep.

There was a virtual performance of one of the songs from the Year 6 Play Porridge! which featured pupils and their teachers.

The Warnes Cup prizewinner – the pupil who has embodied the visions and values of Ipswich Prep School – was also announced, with the award this year going to Adam C.

You can watch the Celebration event on the Ipswich School YouTube channel, and read a copy of the programme for the event which includes some of our most memorable moments of the Ipswich Prep year.
