Exam art on virtual show

This year’s GCSE and A Level exam artwork is now available to view in a new virtual show.

A range of work has been produced by the Year 11 and Sixth Form students, with theme of ‘Event’ for the Year 11 exam, and ‘Change and/or Stability’ for the Year 13 exam.

Mr Parkin, Director of Art, said: “I am really excited about this year’s exhibition as it is the first time that we have had GCSE and A level Art, Textiles and Photography on display together. The students have triumphed in working in a very wide range of media; we have sculptures in wire, plaster, resin and found materials, as well as films, garments, collages, prints, drawings, ceramics, mixed-media and digital work.”

He added: “Despite not having the physical exhibition we have pulled out all the stops to showcase the exceptional variety and skill of our talented students.”

Some of the students’ work can be viewed in our online gallery here.
