Heritage Open Morning

As part of Heritage Open Days, the country’s biggest and most popular voluntary cultural event, Ipswich School will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday 12 September 2015. This year more than 30 buildings or locations are open in Ipswich as part of the event. 

The Senior School will be open from 9.00 am until 12.00 noon, with guided tours at 9.00 am, 10.00 am and 11.00 am. Please come to the Henley Road entrance, opposite Christchurch Park. There is no need to book and refreshments will be available throughout the morning.

Please note that if you are driving through Ipswich on that day, a cycling event means the following roads will be closed in Ipswich from 00:01 on Saturday 12 September until 23:59 on Saturday 12 September:

• Civic Drive from Elm Street
• Franciscan Way from Wolsey Street
• Princes Street from Grafton Way
• Princes Street from Friars Street

Diversions will be in place.
