Lower School Coding Club

Lower School Coding Club is a relatively new club, it’s been running for two weeks now.

The main aim of the club is to teach Lower School students what they need to get a head start in Years 8 and 9, while also making it a fun learning experience! When we visited on Thursday they were learning how to use IF statements, using a beginners version of Python.

The club is run by some of our Digital Leaders. If you are interested in joining, it runs every Thursday lunch time at 1.30pm in CS2 (the computer room by Physics). If you would like to find out more about the club, please talk to the leaders Chloe, Nicholas, Barbara and Henry in Year 9.

William T, James O and Billy B, Year 10
