Student successes

Lucy’s showjumping success

Lucy E from Year 11 competed on the Sunshine Tour, with the National Final taking place at Hickstead – the home of British Showjumping – two weeks ago.

Having qualified for the competition through a number of rounds locally, Lucy competed in a jumping round as well as a dressage class. An impressive achievement considering that her pony, Blaze had never jumped until Lucy rescued him.

Bella’s judo call-up

Following her recent Bronze at the English Closed competition, Bella W (Year 9, pictured at a British Schools event) has been called up to train with the England Judo Development Squad. She will travel to Walsall each month for training and is eligible to represent England Judo at junior tournaments around Europe.

Congratulations to both on these fantastic successes.
