My Year 7 Experience

My Year 7 Experience
24th September 2018 By Ipswich School in Ipswich School General

Over 100 new faces joined the Senior School this September in Year 7. Some were in the Prep School previously, but for many, this is their first experience of Ipswich School life. We took this opportunity to take a photo of everyone and see how they’re settling in here.

My Year 7 Experience

My time so far at Ipswich School has been a good experience. I have already made lots of friends who have all made me feel part of the school community. All of the teachers have helped me settle in as well as making me welcome and comfortable in a new environment.

In comparison to my old school, everything seems so much more exciting including having lockers, different subjects and the huge school building with all its intricate corridors. Although there is quite a lot more PSC to do!

There are still plenty of other great things, for example, the delicious school dinners that the cooks serve up. One of my favourites so far is the curry which is nearly every Tuesday. Also the new sports are great, having two afternoons a week of rugby, hockey and cricket. Even if you don’t like these sports there are many others like fives, swimming and athletics.

My best advice is to join one of the co-curricular clubs to expand your learning experience and have fun doing something you love. All in all I think this is an amazing school and anyone thinking of coming here should.
