‘Owl things bright and hootiful’ on display

Meet ‘Owl Things Bright and Hootiful’, wonderfully designed by Miss Banham and pupils at Ipswich Prep as part of The Big Hoot’s Little Hoot Learning programme.

Explaining the design of the Little Hoot, Miss Banham said “Our Little Hoot embodies the whole community at Ipswich Preparatory School.

The eyes are surrounded by the fingerprints of our pre-schoolers – helping the hoot look into the future. The wings are adorned with a feather for every child in the Prep in their house colour, on which they have written a word meaning ‘kind’.

You can see our leaning disposition characters all over the hoot and he is grounded on a log carved with the school’s core values; potential, passion, care and communication.”

You can find ‘Owl Things Bright and Hootiful’ on display in The Hold.
