Practical Physics

Last Tuesday, the Physics Department held a carousel of the required practical experiments needed at A Level, including ones that may only be touched upon in the lessons. It was useful as it allowed students to see and try experiments that may have only previously been done as demos or discussed in lessons, as well as repeating experiments they had previously done.

These included determining Young’s Modulus, IV characteristics of different components and countless other circuits. A huge thank you to the Physics Department for organising this, it was a great opportunity for A Level students.
