Student sporting success

Congratulations to Noah W in Year 11 and Luca W in Year 9, who amassed an incredible 13 awards for cycle speedway between the two of them at this year’s British Cycling Awards in Manchester recently. Noah received nine awards in total, including four for 2021, and five for 2022, including silver in the Junior European Individual Championships, two British individual champion awards at Junior and U16 level, and two team champion awards at Junior and U16 level. Luca won four awards – as the U12 British Youth and Junior League Champion in 2021, and then three British team champion awards at U12 and U14 level in 2021, and U14 level in 2022.

Congratulations to Jess L in Year 9, who is now the U15 girls’ national indoor shot put champion. She won the title last Saturday at the England Athletics competition at English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield.
