Young Art East Anglia: Eagerly awaited results...

The children in Years 2, 4 and 6 worked hard in their lunch times and Art and Design lessons to produce beautiful pictures responding to the theme of ‘Myths, Legends and Fairy Tales’.

Looking through their work before it was taken away by the organisers of the Young Art East Anglia Exhibition, we were struck by the scope of their imaginations and their individuality.

Like parents, we always wait with bated breath for the results; they are all winners to us!

Four pupils in Year 2, four pupils in Year 4, one pupil from The Art Zone Club and nine pupils from Year 6 had their work selected for the exhibition.  Four further children were awarded Highly Commended by the judge:  Well done!

The exhibition is at the Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh, and is open to all at the following times:
Friday 14th March (1pm to 5pm)
Saturday 15th March (12 noon to 5pm)
Sunday 16th March (10am to 4.30pm)

Because our children are ALL winners at the Prep, there will be a ‘Pop-Up’ exhibition of the Year 4 and 6 pictures when they have been returned.  We can then all appreciate their artistic talents!
