Trips

Senior School

We run a wide range of trips at both home and abroad. Academic trips include tours to France, Germany, and Spain. Other regular trips include a ski trip, a Classics trip to Rome, a Chapel Choir tour, an adventurous expedition and a host of sporting tours both at home and abroad.

Expeditions

Every two years the school organises an expedition slightly further afield than normal school trips would go. The expedition is run during the summer holiday on a two year cycle. Students participate in an 18 month fundraising and training programme and, where possible, the trip will involve some community work in the chosen destination.

The expedition takes place at the end of Year 11 or Year 12. Previous students have journeyed to India, Peru, Ethiopia, Ecuador and Borneo. In 2018, the school became one of the first in the UK to journey to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, where the pupils were able to explore the Silk Route cities of Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara.
