Netballers enjoy the Condover Hall tournament

A great time was had by the 27 netballers who headed off to Condover Hall in Shropshire last weekend for the annual netball tournament held there. A late arrival on the Friday meant straight to bed before being up and about early on Saturday for the start of the netball tournament for our twp U14 teams. Our mixed U14/U15 team had time for all sorts of fun activities in the morning before competing in the U15 competition in the afternoon.

Our U14 Blue team qualified top of their group for the Plate on Sunday, while our U14 Gold team qualified for the cup competition. Our U15s then went on to top their group in the afternoon to qualify unbeaten for the U15 cup on Sunday. There was a disco, more fun activities and lots of laughter on Saturday night before bed and an early rise on Sunday for the finals!

Congratulations to our U14 Blue team on finishing as runners-up in the plate, losing in the final by one goal and to our U14 Gold team who finished third in the cup competition losing out narrowly on a finals place to the eventual winners. Lastly congratulations to our U15 team who were unbeaten all weekend to lift the trophy in the cup competition.
