At Ipswich Prep we aim to provide the children with outstanding opportunities to develop their skills in a wide range of activities both inside and alongside the curriculum. We call the extra-curricular activities ‘co-curricular’, as they are as important as the children’s academic studies.
Clubs vary from term to term and include such activities as sewing, yoga, ‘fun with food’, golf, skiing, horse-riding, drama, numerous sports and numerous musical groups. Pupils in Years 3 to 6 are offered a variety of stimulating activities which are incorporated into a timetabled slot at the end of each week.
“Pupils develop their knowledge, understanding and skills well through a broad curriculum and an extensive range of extra-curricular activities…” Independent Schools Inspectorate Report, June 2013
