Ipswich School is proud to announce that this year’s Careers and Universities event, the biggest event in the careers calendar, will be taking place on Tuesday 12 March.

Over fifty businesses and universities will be visiting Ipswich School, allowing students and their parents from all over the local area to gain an insight into various possible careers and further education.

There will be guests from sectors such as accountancy, law, engineering, armed forces and medicine, as well as gap years and volunteering.

One of the most anticipated features of this year’s event will be the representatives from the largest group of universities ever to attend, including University of Essex, UEA, University of Suffolk, Kings College, Exeter, Dundee, Newcastle and Nottingham, to name but a few.

Sean Boyle, Head of Middle School Careers at Ipswich School, and one of the event organisers, said:  “This is the biggest and most exciting gathering of exhibitors we have ever hosted. It is a tremendous opportunity for pupils and parents, from Ipswich School and beyond, to be more informed and inspired, to make the right choice for them.”

The exhibition runs from 7-8.45pm, in the Ipswich School Great School and Little School venues.  The entrance is on Ivry Street in Ipswich, and parking is available at Ipswich Prep School, opposite the venue, with the entrance to the car park on Anglesea Road.
