Netball

Ipswich School Netball encourages pupils of all ages and abilities to experience, enjoy and compete in netball. Fithteen teams operate in total, so there are plenty of opportunities for players to compete against other schools, colleges and universities. Ipswich frequently features at the East Regional Schools Competition and we also play within the ISNC at the U13 age group.

Netball for Years 7-13 runs as a games option during the spring term and be accessed as a club in the Autumn. At Senior level, students have the opportunity to play two terms netball and there are further opportunities for high achieving players across all year groups to develop through our academy system which operates in the summer term.  We believe our students shouldn't have to pay to have additional high level coaching outside of the school structure.  We provide this within the programme with the opportunity to train all year round as well as further S&C development if desired by the student.

Ipswich has strong links with a number of local clubs which offers our pupils the opportunity to play regularly outside of school up to a Regional level. We also have pupils featuring in the England Netball Performance Pathway at Satellite, County and Regional Academies.

Our coaching team are highly qualified and experienced in both coaching and umpiring which enables players at all levels to fulfil their potential. Sessions are skill based focusing on technical and tactical elements whilst also having fun.
