U13 hockey girls are national runners-up

The U13A girls’ hockey team secured a national silver medal last Thursday in the Independent Schools Hockey Cup.

The team secured a 4-0 win in their semi final against Reigate Grammar to secure a place in the final later in the day.
The final was an extremely close contest with both sides showing why they had earned their spot in the final, with speed, skill and determination in abundance for the full 40 minutes.

The Ipswich girls were unfortunately pipped to the post, losing in the final in normal time. However, the girls should be extremely proud of their performance in the final and their achievement in securing the runners-up spot, placing them second in the country.
