Bookish Bake Off’s sweet success!

It was a busy scene under the Library on World Book Day for the Bookish Bake Off 2022 competition, with an impressive and colourful array of book-themed bakes. Pupils and staff creations included wonderful Willy Wonka chocolate cakes, a tribute to Shirley Hughes, gluten-free options and more.. Judges from Ipswich School Catering Team
had the highly enviable task of tasting and selecting their way through them all! Once they had made their (difficult) decisions, pupils were able to undertake their own taste tests.

And the winners were:

Presentation: Calum B from 7D

Taste: Clementine L from 7C

Don’t forget there are special World Book Day books which can be picked up from the library, along with paper copies of the brilliant ‘Who’s Behind the Book?’ quiz, which continues until the end of Monday 7 March.
