Remembrance Day traditions

On Friday 11 November, pupils and staff gathered together at 11am to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in war. Niamh and Kit played the Last Post as we began our two minutes silence, as part of our annual Remembrance Day commemorations.

On Sunday, CCF Cadets and Old Ipswichians gathered in the Chapel for a Remembrance Evensong. Niamh once again played the Last Post and the Wolsoy Consort provided the music. A bell was tolled for all the Old Ipswichians who died in WWI and WWII, and a wreath was laid on behalf of the CCF and the Old Ipswichians.
