Netball success

Our U14A, U16A and U19A netball teams recently played in the area round of the National Schools Competition.

Both the U16A and U19A teams played really well and following five matches each, they finished as runners-up, meaning they will play in the next round in November. Unfortunately the U14 team didn’t qualify, but the standard of play was very high and they deserve recognition for their team effort.

The National Schools Competition is the biggest netball competition in England. Each year, around 1500 teams over three age groups enter with the hope of progressing though county, regional and national rounds in an attempt to be crowned national school champions.
