Year 7 Discovery Day – Saturday 9 May 2026
We are pleased to invite prospective families to our Year 7 Discovery Day on Saturday 9 May 2026; a specially designed event for pupils considering joining Ipswich School in Year 7.
This immersive, hands-on experience gives children the chance to explore life in the Senior School, take part in interactive activities, and meet the teachers who will guide their learning journey.
What to Expect
Our Discovery Day helps pupils get a real feel for Ipswich School. During the morning, children will:
- Take part in fun and engaging subject taster sessions
- Meet key members of staff, including pastoral and academic teams
- Explore our classrooms, science labs, creative spaces, and sports facilities
- Experience first-hand what makes Ipswich School an exciting place to learn, grow and thrive
Parents will also have the opportunity to speak with teachers and the Admissions team about the transition to Year 7, the curriculum, and our pastoral care.
