British Army Band Colchester hit the right note at Festival of Music

What a fantastic start to our Festival of Music yesterday with the incredible British Army Band Colchester.

In the morning, 250 children from local primary schools enjoyed a concert from the Band. They had the opportunity to hear from various musicians and learn more about their instruments. They had a fabulous time and there was plenty of dancing in the seats!

In the afternoon, student wind musicians joined the rehearsals ahead of a collaborative section of the evening concert.

Thank you to The British Army Band Colchester for your time spent working with the students both in rehearsal, and of course in the evening concert. What an inspirational experience – it will certainly be an evening to remember.
