Girls’ cricket has been a huge success over the years here at Ipswich School, demonstrated by the U18s beating Canford School by 8 wickets to win the final of the national T20 cup in 2023. The U17 girls also won their national competition last year, with the U15s winning it in 2022.

Through all of these successes, the sponsor has remained the same with Venue 16 and JLS Catering Group supporting Ipswich School cricket for the last four years, and the girls’ 1st XI and U17s for the last two. We are delighted to announce that Venue 16 and JLS Catering Group will very kindly continue to sponsor these teams. JLS Catering Group is one of the many businesses that support the school, and help to bring teams like girls’ cricket to the next level. This year, JLS are holding their ‘Summer Soul Vibes Festival’ at their Venue 16 site, on Tuddenham Road.

The event is being described as “THE place to be in Ipswich this summer”, with great music being played by The Brand New Heavies, Trevor Nelson and Incognito and many more. Street food, bars and campervan stay are also available, with general admission being just £35 per person. Book your tickets now!
