Junior runners race to victory

The East Anglian cross country series takes place every year, with our runners competing against Greshams, Norwich and Royal Hospital Schools. The wet weather has added an extra dimension to a tough series of races.

This year Ipswich School’s junior runners dominated from the outset, winning all four races. Jonathan L, who ran in three of the four races, was awarded the individual junior boy trophy, helping the team to take the series win. Elizabeth W, who ran in all four races, coming first each time, also helped to secure the junior girls series award for the second year in a row.

Congratulations to all the junior runners who took part this year: Jonathan L, Max W, George H, Elizabeth W, Bella W and Izzy G.
