We are delighted to announce that our James, at pupil at Ipswich Prep has been selected as “Minty’s Bsporty Sailor of the Year” 2022 and will receive six months of mentoring with professional sailor Hannah Diamond.

The Mintridge Foundation were on the look-out for young people who have demonstrated World Sailing values throughout the past year.

After a busy year of training and racing, James competed against the best Cadet sailors in the country at the National Championships at Brixham in Devon. After a very successful week of racing, he won the Silver Fleet.

James is a regular sailor at Waldringfield Sailing Club. Congratulations! We can’t wait to see what this year brings for you.
