Boarders enjoy Helmingham lights

Christmas is approaching! Just last Friday, Mrs Christie and Miss Halford-Thompson organised a boarding trip to Helmingham Hall Gardens Lights.

Helmingham Hall is located in the countryside in Suffolk, the light show in the gardens turns the dark winter nights into a magical world of light, colour and sound as you explore the grounds. Many boarders were impressed by how the lights are designed and positioned to give amazing effects and create a magical atmosphere in the garden. If you’re not a boarder but you want to go as well, you need to be quick because this festival is only on until 17 December.

Mrs Christie said afterwards: “Visiting the light show is the perfect way to spark that festive spirit we all love when we feel it. I did wonder if there might be someone that would not enjoy it, but no, as a trip it was a hit!”

In addition, any boarder who wants to go Christmas shopping in Norwich on 9 December, please remember to register in advance with any matron or boarding teacher to make sure there is space for you.
