Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising activities at school before the holidays. The Christmas hamper raffle organised by Sherrington House raised over £180 for Operation Smile, and also resulted in a second hamper being gifted to the Lighthouse charity. The lucky ticket was drawn in Dr Fred’s form during registration, with Sam W winning the hamper to enjoy.
Mrs Carvell organised the raffle of a signed match shirt from ITFC captain Sam Morsy, which was won by Phoebe R. This raised £296 for Operation Smile and £459 for Lendwithcare, split between Phoebe’s form and Mrs Carvell’s form.
Finally, £300 was raised for Lendwithcare through the Holden Christmas Fayre. At this event, there were many different stalls and activities including everything from gingerbread men and biscuit decorating, to hook a bauble and a crockery smash. Refreshments were sold in our homemade bake sale with hot chocolates on offer too. Many also enjoyed splat the rat/reindeer, guess the weight of cookies in the jar and Nerf Santas, made from toilet rolls. There was something for everyone and overall the event
was a huge success.
