Death of HM Queen Elizabeth II

Nicholas Weaver, Headmaster of Ipswich School said:

“On behalf of the Ipswich School community we send our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty the Queen. We share in the nation’s grief and give thanks for a long and distinguished life of service. We were proud to have Her Majesty as the School’s Visitor.”

He added: “Ipswich School will run tomorrow (Fri 8 Sept) with appropriate solemnity, and our School Chapel, which is at the heart of our community, will be open for personal prayer and quiet reflection. A book of condolence will be open for pupils and staff in the Chapel.”
