Ganzoni Art winners announced

With 65 entries to choose from, the Art Department had a hard task to decide on the winners for this year’s Ganzoni Art competition. The theme was “space” and Mr Parkin, Director of Art, explained that there were lots of different creative interpretations of the theme.

Some people focused on the universe, while others looked at their personal space around them or even their own head space. There was a full range of different art styles produced by students, including high quality fine art, textiles and photography and mixed media pieces.

Mr Parkin said: “It was great to see students experimenting with things which we don’t teach in class. Well done everyone!” Senior winner – Dorothy L, Broke. Junior joint winners – Art G, Holden and Sarah L, Rigaud.
