Ganzoni Art winners revealed

The annual Ganzoni Art competition has taken place, with the winners being announced just last week. The theme of this year’s competition was ‘My World’, with students from the Middle School and Sixth Form showcasing their unique artistic talent. From photography, to oil paintings, to textiles, the competition always displays the skills of students in the school, and it’s fantastic that there are so many entries each year. This year there were over eighty entries, all of such high quality that the winners were truly difficult to decide.

Director of Art Mr Parkin said: “It was lovely to have a range of techniques on show, and the various techniques were reflected in the winning pieces. It was also great to have winners across Year 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 which shows the breadth of talent across the entire school.”

The overall winners were Blythe for the Senior competition and Adiella for the Junior competition.
Well done to the winners as well as all other entrants.
