‘Neurographic-Owl’ on display

Meet ‘Neurographic-Owl’, designed by Rev Crompton-Battersby and pupils at Ipswich School as part of The Big Hoot’s Little Hoot Learning Programme.

Explaining the design of the Little Hoot, Rev said: “Our Little Hoot reflects the healing power of art and creativity.

In our design planning, we learnt about a form of therapeutic drawing called Neurographica. It is an abstract form of drawing where you focus your thoughts on problems and anxieties and allow your hand to draw intersecting, flowing lines, strengthening the lines at the points where they intersect.

In honour of the inspirational people of Ukraine we have chosen blues and yellows as the dominant colours.”

You can find ‘Neurographic-Owl’ on display in Christchurch Mansion.
