Cheque presentation with Suffolk Refugee Support

It was a pleasure to welcome Cathy from Suffolk Refugee Support into school last week to present a cheque for £1,149.89 – raised from our fundraising last term.

Suffolk Refugee Support helps refugees living in Suffolk – they assist with quality independent advice and support for refugees here by means of education and employment advice, access to immigration advice, and help with housing and welfare benefits. Ipswich School is also the base for the SRS Homework Club.

Donations were raised through events such as a drama raffle, Christmas jumper day and a Year 7 film night.
