Year 7 were very lucky to meet Tasha Lawrence, one of the contestants in the famous TV show Gladiators, last week in assembly.

The Gladiators (specially trained fitness people) battle against the ‘ordinary’ contenders in many difficult obstacle courses and races. Tasha inspired us about her time on the show and said: “You may have doubts in your head but you can still get through.” She also said the hardest obstacle was definitely Hang Tough and that she woke up the next day not being able to feel her shoulders!

The incredible contestant said she is very interested in becoming a gladiator and as soon as the form is out her name will be on it. We are all rooting for you Tasha!
