George N from Year 12, who trains with the Deben Rowing Club, achieved a silver medal at the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships earlier this month.
Held at the Copper Box Arena at the Olympic Park in Stratford, the NJIRC is the world’s biggest national indoor rowing competition, and caters for over 2500 young people aged 11-18.
George is pictured here with former British rower Andy Triggs Hodge OBE who is a three time Olympic champion and four time world champion. Well done, George!
