Congratulations to Tom D from Year 13 who is one of eight young people to sign a professional rugby contract with Northampton Saints, which starts after his A Level exams. Tom said: “Signing at Saints was a dream come true. A lot of hard work on and off the pitch was put into it, I felt nothing but happiness and pride when I finally put pen to paper. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing support and coaching staff at Ipswich School, they knew how to push me, to get where I needed to.”

He added: “I also want to thank my friends and family for supporting me throughout the years and driving ridiculous hours to matches. I’m really looking forward to the hard work ahead and developing my game to as best as it can be!”
