Thanks from Kyiv for our donations

An amazing 60 boxes of supplies for Ukraine were collected in our Christmas appeal. The first of the boxes left the school on Christmas Day, and arrived 5 days later at the school for disabled children in Kyiv.

The first delivery included 14 boxes of mainly power banks and lights, and they were tracked on their journey through Europe. Since then, the rest of the boxes which contained other essential supplies such as food and hygiene items and clothing have also made their long journey by road to Ukraine.

Ms Shevchenko said: “What we have done not only helps children and families to endure this unimaginable situation, it also gives them incredibly valuable moral support and a boost of hope. I think we all have made a huge difference.”

A touching video was shared with our community, made by the students and teachers of the school in Kyiv, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the support that they received from the aid that we collected. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Christmas appeal.
