Virtual Vikings at Ipswich Prep

Year 3 children completed their topic on the Vikings with a virtual Viking Day. They dressed up, made Viking longships, shields and Viking cartoons, as well as being given their very own Viking name for the day. As with the vast majority of our remote learning, Viking Day was ‘live’, with teachers working directly with the children online.

Mrs Blake, Year 3 teacher, said: “The children had great fun sharing their costumes and reading their cartoons to each other.”

Jamesson – aka Charlie M – said: “I loved the dressing up!” Georgesdottir – aka Esme B – added: “My favourite part of Viking Day was making the shields.” Matthewsdottir – aka Chloe W – said: “My favourite part of Viking Day was being given our Viking names.”
