On Friday 24 November, the Winter Concert took place in Great School. A number of school ensembles performed, and we enjoyed seeing the Lower School students who performed in various groups. The concert orchestra played the classics, The Final Countdown and the Doctor Who theme. We liked the Senior Brass Ensemble who performed All I Want for Christmas is You, and the Symphony Orchestra’s performance of How to Train Your Dragon.

With ice creams and refreshments served in Little School during the interval, the night finished with the Big Band, where You Are The Sunshine Of My Life had a vocal solo from Elise in Year 13, who won the Young Musician of the Year title in 2023.

Well done to everyone for an entertaining evening.
